GetVertical Pole Vault (GVPV) is a USA Track and Field club that was founded by Jason Shimko in 2006 with the goal of developing a network of athletes and coaches that improves pole vaulting by supporting each other and the community.  GVPV is headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with recent expansion to serve athletes and coaches in southeast Wisconsin and northern Chicago area.

The secret to our success is our knowledgeable volunteer coaching staff who work to develop athletes based on their unique individual needs.  Our ability to maintain a high coach to athlete ratio allows us to know athletes by name and support them as the individuals they are.

All of the staff at GetVertical PV absolutely love pole vaulting.  This ensures a fun, yet competitive environment focused on improving to reach personal goals.
